Hey there,

as you may know, I have a slight Essie obsession. They are my favourite nail polishes. They last 3-5 days, are so easy to apply and you don´t need many layers at all. That´s why I´ve got quite a few of them and today, I´d like to show them to you.

A Crewed Interest (LE): light peach - 2 layers

Shop til I drop: sheer light peach, gel look - 3 layers for full coverage
Tartdeco: bright coral/orange - 2 layers (careful: turns more orange, when a topcoat is applied!)

All tied up (LE): did someone read too much Shades of Grey?!: brown-red with golden shimmer - 2 layers
Reccessionista (LE): deep plum - 1 layer
Bond with Whomever (LE): light purple, lilac - 2 layers

Miss Fancy Pants (LE): elephant grey with a hint of purple (depending on the lightning) - 2 layers

Top 5: Eyeshadows

Hey there,

this week is so busy. One of my friends from Germany is here to visit me for a week and we´re out all day long and I have to work. Even though it´s so much fun, I´m so tired.
Anyway, I didn´t want to miss out on blogging and today it´s time for another Top 5 Tuesday. This time, it´s all about eyeshadows.

Manhattan "dim brown" (top left): This is one of my all time favourites. I bought it 1,5 years ago and I´m still loving it. The pigmentation is amazing and it feels so smooth when applying it. It has already a quite deep hollow, which you can´t see on the picture. Its colour changes between grey and green, depending on the light.

No7 (no name) (top right): I received it in a gift box by No7, which you got when you spent more than 15pounds on No7 make up. In the beginning, I didn´t like it at all, but now it is one of my favourites. Often, I use it instead of a black eyeshadow, as it is a really dark green with gold shimmer and looks black most of the time. It is easy to work with and stays the whole day/night.

Mac "Satin Taupe" (bottom): Do I really have to talk about this one? I have been talking about it so much already, you are probably bored as soon as you see it on a picture. Just that: I love it and I would always repurchase it.

Rival de Loop "white coffee" (right): My favourite to blend all edges of my make up. I use it everyday and I already repurchased it 2 times.

Chanel Illusion d´ombre "Émerveillé" (right): I have been thinking about buying it for nearly a year. It is pretty expensive, but it is worth it. It works without a base and I usually take it with me every weekend (as I´m out every weekend) and I use no other eyeshadow on the weekends (except the one above). It is perfect for a really natural look but also goes really well with a nice eyeliner. It was really worth buying it.

NOTD - black ´n´white is my confetti

Hey there,

as I have shown you in my latest haul, I bought the Loreal Confetti Topcoat. It caught my eye ages ago, but it was always sold out. When I finally found it, I just had to buy it. I´m really glad I did. It is black and white, so it goes really well on top of nearly any nail polish.
This time, I felt like wearing grey nails, but in the end it seemed too boring to me. So I just added the Loreal topcoat and I´m amazed. It is so simple, but looks so good.

Base: Rival de Loop "lucky grey" (LE)

Do you have the Loreal Confetti Topcoat? Do you like it, or not? What nail polish do you combine with it?

FOTD - Jennifers Goldrush

Hey there,

Green-gold was always an autumn colours to me. I rarely wear that colour in spring/summer, but the weather was so awful this morning, that I decided to give it a go. So I took out my green-golds and this is what it ended in.

I tried to keep it very simple, so it didn´t look too dark.

Unfortunately, you can´t really see "Satin Taupe", which I used in the crease. I don´t know why, but the light was pretty bad today.

Used products:
Urban Decay Primer Potion in "original"
Catrice Made to Stay Eyeshadow "Jennifers Goldrush" (whole lid)
Mac "Sumptious Olive" (on top of JG)
Mac "Satin Taupe" (crease)
Rival de Loop "white coffee" (blending)
MUA Eye Liner "rich brown" (upper&lower lashes and waterline)
Maxfactor False Lash Effect Mascara

On the cheeks, I´m wearing Benefits "Sugarbomb" and on the lips the Clarins Lip Perfector from my last post, in the shade 01.

How do you like it? Do you think green-gold is just for autumn or do you wear every colour, no matter what time of the year it is?

June Haul

Hey there,

I finally ended my "don´t buy make up"-phase. Actually, I thought I would buy a lot more after 2 months without buying make up. I´m quite proud! But now I´d like to show you my little haul with all the make up products I bought in June.

Just a few pics.

Opi "Greenwhich Village" and "Italian Love Affair": These two were a really lucky pic. I bought them in an outlet store for just 4 pounds each, because they have the wrong names on the label, but I went into Sallys and looked them up. So that was no problem at all.

Loreal Confetti Topcoat: Oh, I wanted this one for ages and it was the reason why I finally bought make up again. Always sold out, I just had to buy it when I finally found it. There´s going to be a NOTD with it online soon.

left: "Italian Love Affair" - a light pink, 3 layers
right: "Greenwhich Village" - bright grass green, 2 layers

Model Co Fibre Lashextend: This was a gimmick with the latest Glamour. I always buy the Glamour and I would never purchase the mascara itself. Yes, it gives an amazing length, but no volume at all. If you need length, then this might be the mascara for you. I´m more the volume girl, so this is not the best for me.

Sleek "Life´s a peach": This is my first Sleek blush, which is not a limited edition. I have to admit, I´m so in love with it. The pigmentation is amazing and it gives you a natural look. It can also be layered for a more excentric look.

Revlon Lip Butter "Sorbet": One of the new shades, it caught my eye. The quality is as good as the other lip butters and yes, I´m an addict! The colour is a juicy pink, with hints of blue. On the lips, it looks really fresh and summery and, because of the blue hints in it, it makes the teeth look whiter.

Clarins Ecalt Minute Lip Perfector 01: I´ve seen it used by the lovely Reni and yes, that´s the reason why I bought it. And I´m very happy I did. It is a little bit pricey (about 17pounds for 12(!)ml), but the effect it amazing. The lips feel soft, moist and look simply amazing. When I wore a drying lipstick, I just use that one the day after and my lips are all good again. And the smell, a dream!

These were my purchases in June. I really love every single bit (except the mascara, but I didn´t really buy it) and I don´t regret buying any of them. Have you purchased one of these recently? How do you like the new Revlon Lip Butter shades?

Lots of Love

Top 5: Blushes

Hey there :)

And here is a new part of the Top 5 Tuesday! Today I want o show you my favourite blushes. To be honest, this was really hard. I didn´t want to include any limited edition products, but most of my blushes are limited edition. At least it was not too much to choose from in the end.

These are my top 5.

Benefit "Sugarbomb": This is my go-to blush if I don´t know what blush I should use. It always goes with everything and is not too bright. With its subtle shimmer, you don´t need a highligther during the day.

Sleek "Life´s a peach": Quite new in my collection, but already a favourite. In the last weeks, I´ve always been wearing this if I wanted to add a touch of peach. It is matte, but shimmer can be added.

left: Sugarbomb (looks a bit too ornge here)
right: Life´s a Peach

Catrice "Rosewood Forest": This dark, plum blush is perfect for an evening out. It can be layered and goes perfectly with nearly everything.

Topshop "Flush": A wonderful, bright cream blush which is easy to work with and stays on the skin for the whole day, especially on "hot", english summer days.

No7 "Coral Flush": Your cheeks but better. A nice everyday blush, no matter if in the office, for lunch with friends or a date, it is always a reliable helper.

What are your favourite blushes? Do you have a specific colour range that you like? Or is it as mixed as mine?

Empties #1

Hey there :)

Today I´d like to show you the products I´ve used up this month. I have to say I was pretty successful this month and I´m impressed all over again how many things I empty in one month.

Dove Go Fresh Showergel: This one smelled absolutely amazing. It was really creamy and the skin felt extremely soft after using it. Top

TBS Mini Showergel Dreams: I always take small showergels with me on the weekends (I´m always away on the weekends) and this one was my favourite. Unfortunately, it was a limited edition. It lasted me ages and it smelled delicious. Top

Pantene Pro-V Smooth&Sleek Conditioner: I´ve been using the Pantene Pro-V smooth and sleek products for the last year and it was always good, but after dying my hair, my hair started to fall out. So I decided to use this range up and try a new one afterwards. Ok

Batiste Dry Shampoo: My 6th bottle, I think, and I´m still loving it. Amazing smell, no white powder left in the hair, gives a lot of volume. Repurchased

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave-in conditioner: Let me put it like this. I loved the Aussie products (well, at least in the beginning), but then they changed my easy peasy lemon squeezy hair and at the end, the products were empty and gone and I was left with frizzy and dry hair. Sorry Aussie, but that is a NO-GO!

Boots Cleansing Wipes: Always using them. They are doing a great job for removing the first bits of make up. Repurchased

Colgate Total Toothpaste: My go-to toothpaste. Repurchased

Boots Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover: Yes, it does its job and it removes the nail polish from your nails, but it colours the fingertips and that stays for hours, even to the next day. No-go

Kiko Brush Cleanser: A really nice cleanser if you want to clean your eyeshadow brushes quickly without water, but it doesn´t replace a good wash. However, using this, it is enough to give them a proper wash every 2 weeks. Ok

Impulse Popstar: Nice deodorant and really small and compact. That´s why I always carry it in my sportsbag or handbag with me. Repurchased

Catrice The Giant Mascara: I love this mascara. Gives volume and length and doesn´t make you look like a panda after a couple of hours. Unfortunately, this is only available in Germany. But I´m definitely going to repurchase it when I´m in Germany in August. Top

Garnier BB Cream with Matt-effect: Very nice for the summer or when your skin doesn´t need much of covering up. Review is coming soon. Repurchased

Essence Eye Pencil "Teddy Brown": A normal brown eye pencil which you can find with every brand. It doesn´t last on the waterline very well. Ok

These are my emptied products for June. What are your products, that you always repurchase?

Lots of Love
